Paroma Mitra

Paroma Mitra provides strategic direction for key ORRAA projects, including Vessel Viewer and the Coastal Risk Index. She works across industry-experts, stakeholders, partners and ORRAA members to coordinate tasks and projects, interpret data, and identify additional opportunities for collaboration and improvements related to these projects.

Prior to joining ORRAA, Paroma worked at Convergence, focusing on building their blended finance transaction pipeline, data and visualisation dashboards for evidence backed reporting and oversaw the firm’s gender-focused initiatives. She also has experience as a development consultant in India, leading programme delivery and stakeholder management for public-funded welfare projects across various sectors. Paroma is an Indian-qualified structured finance lawyer and holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University.
