Hannah Skeates 

Hannah has a career background in global institutional investment management. She has been a pioneer in the development of sustainable investing, with significant involvement in the areas of product design, product strategy and business strategy. Hannah’s prior roles include being iShares’ Global Head of Sustainable Investments at BlackRock (having earlier been part of the iShares ETF launch team at Barclays Global Investors), Head of Global ESG Strategy at S&P Dow Jones Indices, and Co-Head of Sustainable Investing at Wells Fargo Asset Management.  

In addition, Hannah has been a Special Advisor and Senior Associate at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (‘CISL’), where she helped conceive the Investment Leaders Group. More recently, Hannah has shifted to focus on nature-related action, gaining an MSc in Aquatic Conservation, Ecology and Restoration from University College London, UK, and working at the naturetech company, NatureMetrics.
