Ghazal Zazai

Ghazal is a Senior Associate in ORRAA’s Global Outreach and Engagement team, supporting the Alliance’s strategic engagement across major global events and helping to advance ORRAA’s policy agenda. She brings expertise in climate finance, multilateral processes, and stakeholder engagement, with a particular focus on the UNFCCC. Ghazal is passionate about building collaboration across governments, multilateral organisations, and global partners to drive collective action for climate and ocean resilience.

Before joining ORRAA, Ghazal worked as a Policy Analyst at Environment and Climate Change Canada, where she advanced Canada’s international climate finance priorities through programme development, project management, and engagement in global negotiations. She has also worked with the UNDP Vietnam Country Office, supporting the delivery of a large-scale climate adaptation programme. Ghazal holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs.
