Karen Ancillai
Chief Development Officer and Chief of StaffKaren’s duties include fundraising and donor relations, managing ORRAA Inc.’s Board of Directors, and facilitating good communication, collaboration, and coordination among the ORRAA team. She served in a similar role for Ocean Unite, as ORRAA Inc. was previously known, starting from 2018 when she helped to stand up the organisation as a non-profit corporation under US law. She was formerly Senior Director for Philanthropic Partnerships at The Pew Charitable Trusts, where she designed and led fundraising operations for six years. Prior to that, she was a fundraiser at The George Washington University and Northeastern University.
