ORRAA’s mission is to drive at least $500 million of investment into coastal and ocean natural capital and surface at least 50 novel finance products by 2030, positively impacting the resilience of at least 250 million climate vulnerable people in coastal areas around the world.
This work is delivered through three priority pathways underpinning ORRAA’s work: 1) financial innovation, 2) science and research, and 3) policy and governance. By catalysing, scaling and accelerating investment and innovation, ORRAA’s work helps achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and improve ocean stewardship.
The ORRAA indicators form the basis of the Alliance’s monitoring, learning, and evaluation (MEL) procedures linked to each priority pathway and are integrated into the life cycle of all ORRAA projects.
