ORRAA collaborates with Temasek Trust, DBS Foundation and UBS Optimus Foundation on Co-Axis

ORRAA is thrilled to announce our collaboration with Temasek Trust, DBS Foundation and UBS Optimus Foundation who today, at the Philanthropy Asia Summit in Singapore, announced their strategic partnership to build Co-Axis, a pioneering digital marketplace dedicated to catalytic capital.

PescaData, a winner of ORRAA’s Ocean Resilience Innovation Challenge 2023, has been selected as one of the impactful initiatives featured on Co-Axis. PescaData’s innovative app is a pre-seed impact venture designed to enhance data collection, communication and financial decision-making for small-scale fishers. Over 1.2 million people in the Latin American and Caribbean region participate in small-scale fishing – with over 300,000 working in Mexico alone. The software can ultimately accelerate peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, so action can scale rapidly, supporting sustainable fisheries, Ocean health, and the resilience of coastal communities in developing countries.
